Alfredo Ramírez is the dedicated farmer behind Los Pinos (The pines), a coffee farm nestled in the picturesque area of Loma Bonita, Tectitán. Five years ago, Alfredo embarked on his coffee-growing journey by planting his first coffee bushes as an experiment to test the plant's adaptability. His farm spans 0.88 hectares at an altitude of 2000 meters, where he cultivates Catimor, Borbón, and Caturra varieties. Over the years, Alfredo has honed his skills through technical advice and family support, mastering different management methods. He named his farm Los Pinos due to the abundance of pine trees in the area. For Alfredo, the most rewarding aspect of growing coffee is witnessing the fruits of his labor during harvest time.
